Cone of Silence

a pilot

lost

seeks to fly "on the beam"

of radio waves

emitted in four directions

directly above the tower

there are no signals

when the pilot

flies into the center

there is a "pop"

then

dead silence

for the first time

she knows

exactly

where she is
